Your script scored out of 100 before you post

Eight retention criteria, from the hook in the first 3 seconds to the loop at the end. Every score says what drags it down, and the three fixes worth the most points come ready to apply.

Analyze my idea

The analysis runs when you review the script, before a single image, and is paid in credits like the writing.

Examples

Videos made with this tool

  • Horror story

A static shot of an attic door while a voice whispers. The applied fix moves the first knock to second 1 instead of second 6.

  • 30 second explainer

A cat with glowing eyes in the dark. The hook “Your cat isn’t looking at you, it’s sizing you up” replaced a slow setup.

  • Family comedy

A grandma in a helmet on a skate ramp. The descriptive title became a precise curiosity gap, without spoiling the ending.

  • Motivation

A lone runner in the rain at dawn. The flat ending turned into a question that invites comments.

How it works

How to get your script’s virality score

  1. 01

Type your idea or paste your script

One sentence is enough, or your full text. Rewatch writes or takes over the script, then splits it into shots with what is said and what shows on screen.

  2. 02

Run the analysis at script review

Before any image is generated, open the virality analysis. It reads every shot on the timeline, the spoken lines, the on-screen text, the title, the caption and the hashtags.

  3. 03

Read your score and your three fixes

Each criterion gets a score out of 10 and its cause. The three fixes worth the most points come first, with the exact text to change.

  4. 04

    Apply, analyze again, generate

One click rewrites the part using the fix as its instruction. Analyze the new version, then launch the video when the score works for you.

Why Rewatch

What the TikTok script analyzer measures

  • Eight criteria, fixed weights

Hook in the first 3 seconds (25 points), retention and rhythm (15), topic clarity (12), value and emotion (12), format (10), title and caption (10), niche (8), loop (8).

  • A computed score, not a guess

The AI rates each criterion out of 10; the score out of 100, the points lost and the verdict are computed by the app, always with the same formula.

  • A cause behind every score

Each score points to something you can see in the script, with the shot or the second involved: “3 s of greeting before the first stakes”.

  • Three fixes, not ten

Only the three criteria losing the most points make the list. For each one, you get the exact line to say or the exact change to make.

  • Apply a fix in one click

Apply rewrites the part with the fix as its instruction, like Edit story. You review the result before paying for any image.

  • A score that stays honest

As soon as the script changes, the analysis is marked as outdated. Anything missing to score accurately (posting time, audience) is stated plainly.

Who it's for

Who the virality score is for

  • TikTok creators stuck on a plateau

See why a video loses viewers before second 3, and fix the hook before you post the next one.

  • Faceless channels

Check every episode against the same grid to keep a steady level on Reels, Shorts and TikTok.

  • Brands and social media managers

Put a script through its paces before the shoot or the generation, with precise fixes to share with your team.

  • Writers who script by hand

Keep your text, measure its hook and its pacing, and only change what costs you points.

What is a TikTok virality score?

A virality score is a rating that estimates how well a short video can keep people watching to the end, get them to react and get pushed by the algorithm. Nobody can predict for sure whether a video will go viral: a good score promises no number of views. What it measures is what you control, the hook, the pacing, the clarity, the title and the ending.

On TikTok, Reels and Shorts, everything happens in the first seconds: a hook that sets up context instead of stakes drags down your retention rate before the story even starts. That is why the hook weighs 25 points out of 100 in the Rewatch grid, ahead of retention and rhythm (15 points), which call for a new beat every 3 to 5 seconds.

Points lost are computed criterion by criterion: a hook scored 6 out of 10 loses 4 tenths of its 25 points, so 10 points. The verdict follows the total: 80 and above, strong potential; 70 to 79, solid; 55 to 69, publishable; 40 to 54, weak; below 40, better to rework the script.

If you start from a simple idea, the AI TikTok Video Generator writes the script before the analysis. If you already have your text, the Script to Video tool keeps it word for word. Either way, the final video comes out in 9:16, ready for the AI YouTube Shorts Generator as well as the AI Reels Maker.
